SEN Skills

HW School Skills introduced SEN Skills into our range of services quickly after creating the company. SEN Skills are specific lessons and clubs aimed at engaging pupils with learning difficulties, physical difficulties, and sight and hearing impairments. The patient, encouraging and approachable nature of our staff has made Sen Skills a real success at the schools we practice it at.

With the use of many bright and alternative colors, shapes, balls, balloons and other equipment to aid the children in the lesson, we have devised specially tailored activities to access the key learning areas of the children we teach. We are mindful that to keep the enthusiasm and concentration of the children we need to make the activities challenging and fun. Realising the importance of positive reinforcement, we encourage our coaches to offer rewards and incentives to heighten the children's learning experience.
