Harry Watling

Harry is the Founder and Director of HW School Skills and its sister company, Advance Player Development. He was among the youngest coaches in the country to achieve the UEFA B and UEFA A Licences, earning them at just 18 and 26 respectively. His coaching journey has seen him work at the highest levels of the game, spending five years at Premier League giants Chelsea FC before moving on to roles with Millwall FC, West Ham United and Hartford FC. Harry most recently had spells at Rangers FC and Middlesbrough FC and is currently Assistant Head Coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Harry is passionate about using the power of sport to enrich children’s lives, believing it to be a vital tool in primary schools for developing confidence, resilience and social skills, while supporting mental wellbeing, physical health and a lifelong love for activity. Harry strongly believes sport should be inclusive and accessible to all children, regardless of ability or background, creating safe and positive environments where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to succeed.
